who may have experience in helping lead or manage organisations to expand and grow.

who has experience in the following areas:

  • Fundraising
  • Human Resources
  • Digital/Social Media
  • Mentoring

As a Charity Volunteer

We’re looking for people aged 18 or over who are interested in the following roles:

Socialising: Do you like to get out and about, go to the cinema, or the gym, play a game of darts or a game of pool, go to museums or concerts, love cooking curries, maybe like to cycle along the canal, go running or go for walks with your dog? We are always looking for people with time on their hands who can spend time socialising with our young people at weekends and evenings. Ideally, you are experienced with disadvantaged young people and have a way of engaging effectively with them.

Mentor: We are looking for someone who would be happy to spend time mentoring our young residents. It would be ideal for someone with some spare time a one or two days a week and who can be flexible. You would need to be a great listener and may also be able to help find some volunteer or paid work.

Volunteer Co-ordinator: Are you organised, have excellent people skills, can communicate effectively with a wide range of people and understand the role that volunteers have in providing support for charities? We are looking for a competent Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and manage our volunteers. Working alongside and supported by our CEO and Housing Manager, you will have the opportunity to grow our volunteer base, allocating responsibilities and retaining the best people, who volunteer with our charity.

Community Events & Fundraising Volunteers: We’re looking for motivated, enthusiastic and competent community event helpers to join our fun and dedicated team of volunteers who manage our events for us, raising awareness of our charity and helping to raise all-important funds. Please note that these events are mainly held at the weekend.
